Keep gained Outline Planning Consent for the site at Chepstow Road in Raglan for Monmouthsire County Council. The site was allocated for 45 dwellings, and Keep’s design proposals were in line with the allocation and were successful in gaining consent.
A mix of housing types and tenures including affordable housing at a variety of densities was proposed.
A public open space was proposed to the north of the site, fronted by housing to provide active surveillance. A green corridor to the Nant y Wilcae was also proposed to the south of the site which needed careful treatment to minimise light spill, but also balance the need for active frontage to provide natural surveillance.
