Keep were appointed by Dick Lovett to submit a planning application for a 290 room student scheme on part of their wider car dealership site in Bath. Keep worked closely within the parameters of Crest’s consented masterplan for Bath Western Riverside that included part of Dick Lovett’s site. We developed the proposals in line with the requirements of the local authority and Heritage Officer at Bathnes and the resultant proposals were supported by the local authority.

During the planning process for the student accommodation proposals, Dick Lovett agreed a JV with Watkins Jones to develop their overall site that included an extensive development for an additional 400 new homes as well as the student accommodation.

In addition to preparing the student accommodation, Keep provided design advice to Watkins Jones for the wider application. Consent was granted in August 2021. The proposals provide much needed high density and sustainable residential accommodation in an urban setting.
